As hard as rescue tries, there are never enough frunds to cover the costs of rescuing
a pet....especially a shelter pet. So many times, the
adult dog will test positive for heartworms. Heartworm disease is treatable but very costly. How horrible to pass
on rescuing a sweet dog just because they test positive for heartworms. The same holds true for a shelter puppy as they are so fragile. Shelter puppies are susceptible to the
parvo virus as well as upper respiratory infection both of which are treatable but again, very costly. These are just a couple of the very expensive costs when rescuing a shelter pet. Please consider making
a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation toward this Doggie Fund
and let's continue helping those shelter pets that have no choice in life but the choices that are given them by our society. Thank you!

Additional funding from the Holland M. Ware Foundation was recently
acquired by the Atlanta Humane Society to extend these efforts by lowering the costs of surgeries performed on the
mobile surgical unit even further, and including an onsite low-cost spay/neuter clinic, which is conducted through the Atlanta
Humane Society’s Animal Admissions Department every Friday and Saturday. Surgeries performed through this program are just $20 (CASH ONLY), and include a complimentary
rabies vaccination and microchip if needed. Surgeries are performed by appointment only (walk-ins will not be accommodated).

Hello, I was just looking at your website. I have to say, whoever does all that work is wonderful
and I commend you for that. It makes me want to cry (happy tears) when I see how much you absolutely care about the animals....by
putting little scarfs on them etc.. and making them more appealing to adopters.I think you are certainly people to be looked

Newnan's "Before" Picture Want to see how your donations work? This is Newnan who was rescued from
isolation at Coweta County Animal Control and placed in an experienced foster home. The foster home worked with
Newnan and.......well......just take a look at the after picture!

Newnan's "After" Picture Newnan was placed in a loving home and to say that he is a cherished companion
pet is an understatement! Newnan loves people and he adores children. His favorite pastime? Playing in the
